VAT registration: new criteria. With Decree Law No. 605 of Jan. 31, 2017, the new related criteria followed by the ANAF, National Tax Administration Agency, to assess the intention and ability to carry out the economic activity by the taxpayer applying for VAT registration came into force effective Feb. 1, 2017.
