Posting of workers occurs when an employer (seconding) in consideration of its interest and under its direction, makes one or more workers (posted) temporarily available to another party (secondee) for the performance of a work activity, agreed upon and governed by a contract concluded between the parties.<\/p>\n
Specifically, in addition to being set for a maximum duration of one year, the preeminent aspects concern the contribution, which is to be paid in the country of origin, and the salary, which is that of the host country.<\/p>\n
Member states have two years to adapt their regulations to the new EU directive, which sets July 30, 2020 as the final deadline for transposition and entry into force.<\/p>\n
