A very interesting article appeared in the Capital newspaper presenting the main wage differences broken down by geographic area. In particular, and as is already widely known to economic operators, the areas (judet) with the highest net wages are Ilfov, Cluj, Timis.
Some data to understand the geographical differences how much they affect: the average wage in Bucharest is 84% higher than in Vrancea. Further in the provinces with higher wages there are the highest increases compared to those with lower wages proving that no convergence of territorial inequalities is taking place in Romania.
