Increase in the minimum wage.
As of July 1, 2015, the gross minimum wage established by the Law will be increased by 75 lei, for the second time during 2015.
The increase in the minimum wage will therefore bring the wage level to the threshold of 1.050 lei gross monthly.
The Law provides for the imposition of a penalty of 1,000 to 2,000 lei for employers who have not adjusted the wage level of their employees to at least the legal minimum.
