Tax data exchange

Reading Time: 1 min

According to a recent publication in Italia Oggi, since its first implementation on Sept. 30, 2017, the tax data exchange between the different tax agencies of the European Union has resulted in the communication of 7,000 disputes to Italian taxpayers.

The increasing attention and automation by tax agencies means that the taxpayer has to be proportionately more careful in declaring and verifying his or her tax position with reference to transnational income.
